Understanding the Wavelengths:
Each wavelength in the AcuGlow Pro targets a different depth and tissue type, giving you a full-spectrum approach to light therapy support:
- Blue light (460nm) works at the surface level and is widely associated with antimicrobial properties, making it a helpful option for supporting skin surface wellness and coat health in animals dealing with minor surface concerns.
- Red light (630nm) penetrates the most superficial tissue layers and is commonly associated with supporting surface circulation, skin and coat health, and stimulating acupressure points along the meridians.
- Red light (660nm) is one of the most extensively researched wavelengths in photobiomodulation. It penetrates slightly deeper than 630nm and is widely associated with cellular energy support, tissue recovery, and wound healing support.
- Near-infrared light (850nm) penetrates deeper into muscle and joint tissue and is commonly associated with relieving muscle tension, supporting joint comfort, and improving mobility in animals dealing with stiffness or soreness.
- Near-infrared light (940nm) reaches the deepest tissue layers of all five wavelengths and is often associated with deeper joint, nerve, and vascular tissue support, making it a valuable addition for animals with deeper musculoskeletal concerns.
Six Lighting Modes:
The AcuGlow Pro offers six settings giving you full control over your session:
- All wavelengths on simultaneously
- Red and near-infrared only (630nm, 660nm, 850nm, 940nm)
- Blue only (460nm)
- Pulse mode: all wavelengths
- Pulse mode: red and near-infrared only
- Pulse mode: blue only
Recommended Use:
For general wellness support, all five wavelengths together is the preferred mode, combining the full spectrum benefits in one session. For targeted surface and skin concerns, blue light alone can be used first, followed by red and near-infrared for deeper support. For muscle and joint focused sessions without surface concerns, red and near-infrared modes can be used independently.
How to Use:
The AcuGlow Pro is designed for targeted acupressure point work, applying therapeutic light directly to specific points along your animal's meridians to support energy flow, reduce tension, and promote overall wellness. It can also be used for general area support, making it a versatile option for localized concerns such as joints, muscles, or surface skin areas. For area support, hold the device at the area of focus for approximately 3 minutes before moving to the next location.
Not sure which points to target? The AcuGlow Pro works beautifully alongside our Equine, Canine, and Feline Acupressure Charts, your quick-reference guide to the most supportive points for your animal. Want to go deeper? Our Online Acupressure Courses teach you exactly how to build a full session around your animal's individual needs.
Whether your animal is dealing with joint stiffness, muscle fatigue, skin concerns, or general tension, the AcuGlow Pro is a convenient and effective tool to support their health and vitality, at home, at the barn, or on the road.
⚠️ Caution: The tip of the device may become warm with extended use. This is normal for LED devices and does not affect performance. Hold the device by the body below the button for the most comfortable grip during sessions. The device cools quickly between uses, so if needed you can work one or two points, allow a brief rest, and then continue your session comfortably.
