About the event

Join us at The Inn at Rosehill & Rosehill Stables on September 29th at 10am for an enlightening clinic led by a Nationally Certified Acupressure Practitioner from Poll to Pastern. Open to the public, this event offers a unique opportunity to enhance your horse's well-being, with horses available on-site for the hands-on portion. This clinic is limited to just 16 participants, so be sure to secure your spot before it's too late!

Acupressure is a powerful tool for both preventive and complementary equine care. It can help prevent and alleviate various conditions, including colic, inflammation, stomach ulcers, UTIs, arthritis, poll tension, hindquarter stiffness, heaves, allergies, spookiness, wobblers, cushings, diarrhea, spontaneous sweating, and more.

Our hands-on clinic, lasting approximately 3-4 hours, begins with a foundation in acupressure. You'll gain insights into the numerous benefits of each acupressure point discussed. Learn how to locate these points, perfect your techniques for applying pressure, determine the appropriate pressure level, and understand what to observe when providing an acupressure session to your horse. Following the demonstration of the point locations, you’ll have the opportunity to work in pairs on the horses to find the points, with the instructor available every step of the way to assist and answer any questions.

Additionally, participants will have the chance to try out photopuncture using a red light therapy handheld device, adding another layer to your understanding and practice of these powerful techniques.

For your convenience, we’ll provide a folder with an equine skeleton sheet for you to record acupressure locations and point descriptions. While the sheet has some blank space, feel free to bring additional paper for notes. Please remember to bring a chair for the initial part of the clinic, ensuring your comfort throughout this informative session. Don’t miss this chance to deepen your understanding of acupressure and improve your horse’s health and vitality!

Please note that this is not a certification course and is non-refundable.
