This course is the first step toward certification in animal acupressure, led by a Nationally Certified Animal Acupressure Practitioner. It provides the essential knowledge and hands-on skills you need to safely and effectively support your horse’s health and wellbeing. In this course, you will learn: ✨ Foundations of acupressure, how it benefits horses, and the difference between acupressure and acupuncture ✨ Key equine anatomy and meridian systems for accurate point location ✨ Vital Substances, Zang-Fu organ theory, and how they connect to wellness ✨ The bladder meridian, Source Points, and Alarm Points ✨ Assessment techniques: the Four Examinations, vitality rating, tongue, and pulse assessment ✨ Special point categories: Master, Influential, Connecting, and Jing-Well Points ✨ Basics of pathology and recognizing patterns of imbalance ✨ An introduction to photopuncture as a complementary tool You’ll also explore how acupressure can address common concerns such as allergies, digestive health, anxiety, and joint health.
