How many of you have had your boobs professionally scanned this year? Who among you have been told by your insurance company that its fine to do it every OTHER year now? Do any of you know that the power of an ultrasound can increase the detection of breast cancer from approximately 48% to 97%, especially in women with dense breasts. Ultrasound screenings can detect cancers that CANNOT be found by mammography and physical exams alone and should be available to everyone!

As a previvor, and someone who lost her mother to breast cancer when she was only 40 years old (I was 13), I am a HUGE advocate of being aware of what your boobs are doing (ya know, so they don’t try to kill you). So… we are hosting a breast cancer awareness event here at Leatherman Lane on September 25th

HerScan Breast Cancer Ultrasound Screening will be on site to provide ultrasound screenings throughout the day. This is an all-day event (so you can set your appointment at a time that works for you) but you must register with us to participate.

HerScan charges only $265 for the ultrasound scan and takes HSA, Cash or Credit Card (a fraction of the actual value and worth every penny to provide early detection and/or save a life). If you need a scan and cannot afford this, please send me a private message (we are talking with a couple anonymous donors that may be able to help you with the cost).

This is a FREE event to attend! The cost to participate in the trail ride is a $5 charitable donation & there is no trailering in fee to bring your horse, FREE Chic-Fil-A lunch will be provided to the participants who get scanned, FREE yoga at 9am, live music, food trucks, shopping & more!

Yoga at 9am and possibly a movie in the evening!
