Equine Mini Clinic

We will be at Bright Side Youth Ranch teaching a mini clinic for acupressure! This is a hands on event that will allow you to find acupressure points on the horses!

You will learn about acupressure and what it can do for your horse from a nationally certified acupressure practitioner! Also, learn hands on acupressure points you can use on your horse to balance specific anatomical regions and functional systems. Clinic date is September 18th, 2021. 

The clinic will be about 1 hour long and will start with some basic knowledge of acupressure and Traditional Chinese Medicine. We will then discuss the benefits of each acupressure point we will be learning during the clinic. This will be followed up with a demonstration of the location of these points. From there, you will be able to work in pairs on a horse and find the points on your own! The instructor will be right there with you the whole time if you have any questions.

Acupressure can be very beneficial to the horse as a preventative care option and complementary care option! Here is a list of conditions that acupressure can help with arthritis, colic, heaves, allergies, and more! If you have any specific concerns for your own horse, we can guide you to the points you can use to benefit your horse!

Please bring a foldable chair with you for the first part of the clinic. We will provide a folder with an equine diagram sheet for you to write down the  acupressure locations and descriptions we discuss. The sheet has some blank space, but you can bring more paper for notes if you wish.
