Canine Acupressure at Catawba Brewing

Join us with your pup and enjoy an acupressure class! Young pups and senior pups can benefit from acupressure. Its great preventative and complementary care for all! 

Your ticket also includes a beer, cider, or seltzer! We will enjoy the brewery space before they open to the public! This allows us to teach in a time with low distractions for the pups.

Acupressure uses gentle touch to specific points on the body to help balance the chi in your dog. You may be wondering what chi is and the benefits acupressure has for your dog. Well, we would love to help you learn and understand these terms during this awesome class with your dog! We have a certified practitioner who will be teaching this class! Bring your four-legged best friend to learn beneficial points and where they are located in a slow guided class! Think of this class as a doggy spa day! Your dog will thank you!

The class will be roughly 1 hour long and will start with some basic knowledge of acupressure and Traditional Chinese Medicine. Then we will demonstrate locations and benefits of the points. During the demonstration, you will be able to look for the points on your own dog. Acupressure is non-invasive and only requires gentle touch to the points. The instructor will be with you the whole time if you have any questions or help finding the locations.

This acupressure class is held at Catawba Brewing Company in Charlotte, NC. Class date is Sunday April 23rd at 11am. Please bring a towel, yoga mat, dog bed, whatever you would like to sit on with your pup as we will be on the ground with our pups!
